Adoree' Jackson, defense buying in on new Giants regime

Since they hired a new general manager, head coach, offensive coordinator, and defensive coordinator this offseason,

the Giants have experienced a lot of instability. For players, that much information is difficult to digest.

Fortunately for Jackson and the Giants, Wink Martindale is a fantastic defensive coordinator and the secondary is appreciative to have him on board.

Jackson is the secondary player with the most experience, as the other players have hardly played in an NFL game.

The USC graduate is delighted to be playing this new role.

t the end of the day, I like it. Being young but still being able to relate to the men, having experienced some things early in my career," Jackson told reporters on Tuesday.

With 262 tackles, 41 passes defended, and three interceptions over his first five seasons, Jackson has had a strong career thus far.

As he and the rest of his personnel group become more familiar with the new defensive strategy

a process that has begun to gain pace, he will want to outperform those totals.

"I believe that everyone of us can benefit from simply buying in. Buying in and realising that the organisation is through many changes, he said.

"We're just buying in, not saying, 'Woe is me,' feeling sorry for ourselves, or gazing too far into the future.

Just focusing on now, being present, and striving to make it perfect.
