This course presents a survey of American history from the Civil War to today. It emphasizes the economic, cultural, and political factors. Topics studied are the religious and social structure. The course is intended for individuals who plan to pursue a bachelor’s degree and those who desire to strengthen their understanding of the development of our national institutions.
