Clive D. Moon holds a PhD from Baylor University in organic chemistry, was a research chemist at Phillips Petroleum, and holds five patents.  Dr. Moon in recent years has been very active in the business world. He and his son own and operate Moon's LDS Bookstore in Dallas.he owns and manages rentals, he has been a custom home builder. and has also owned and run an insurance agency. He has taught chemistry at the Dallas County and Collin County Community Colleges. He has served as a bishop in the LDS Church and is currently a sealer in the Nauvoo Temple.
